City of Fairmont Offices Closed for Labor Day Holiday
All City of Fairmont offices will be closed Monday, September 6, 2010 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Offices will reopen Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at our regular scheduled hours.

Allegheny Headquarters Coming to County
Jim Haney, Allegheny Energy,Vice President, announced on August 14, 2008 that the company would be locating a new $50 million headquarters at the I-79 High Technology Park. He stated, "This will be nice for Marion County in particular.
